Jesus was God’s child of promise, who grew strong and was filled with wisdom by the grace of God, who opens before us a path and invites us to take our place as God’s children, as lights of hope and love in the world. Our promise and potential lies in our love for each other, in the love of God that we accept into our hearts and share with those around us.
