The people of Phoenix Community Church come from diverse backgrounds and have a variety of spiritual beliefs. Everyone is welcome here. Whether your background is the United Church of Christ, some other Christian denomination, or if you are pagan or agnostic, you are invited to walk your spiritual journey with our community. Phoenix won’t be a church for all people, but we invite you to come and get to know us to find out if Phoenix might be your spiritual home.
We do share a few common convictions which are shown above as our core beliefs and our core values. We also describe Phoenix as a progressive Christian church, by which we generally mean we strive to be radically inclusive, don’t require any particular beliefs, seek justice in the world, affirm both God and science, take the Bible seriously but not literally, and think our doubts and questions are an important part of the spiritual journey.
