When we love some one or some thing such as nature, the rivers and forests and mountains, then we can no longer see them as lesser than. They become important to us. When we take time to connect to and understand each other, to connect to the earth, we nurture humility, peace, and community in our lives and in a world bent on division and self-distruction.
